Madison Kiekel is the assistant director at MHS Horseplay Theatre. Madison graduated from University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas with a liberal arts degree focused in theatre and communications and a minor in education. This will be her third year in a classroom, but her second year as a theatre teacher. She started teaching as a super sub for Clear Creek ISD in 2020. She spent most of her time it Bay Elementary school teaching 2nd, and 3rd grade. The next year she was hired to teach theatre at Pearland Junior High East in Pearland ISD. She made lots of wonderful memories and will cherish her time there, but she is ecstatic to make new memories in Alvin ISD.
Madison Kiekel has been involved in theatre since she was 6 years old. In high school she found two new theatrical passions – Improv & Film. She hopes to instill these passions in her new students as well. When she’s not at school you can usually find her in one of these three locations: local theatres, the movie theatre, or an improv show.
